Sarah Proechel, the creator of Bellydance Herbals, is also a midwife living in the Hudson Valley Region of New York.  Sarah has studied with renowned herbalist Rosemary Gladstar.  In her midwife practice she has found that women are often looking for natural ways to enhance their health during the childbearing year.  Bellydance Herbals formulas were created in response to this need and are based on centuries-old wisdom, as well as the current practices of wise-women herbalists and midwives. Many of the herbs used in Bellydance Herbals products are grown by Sarah without chemicals, or wildcrafted from her own land. What herbs Sarah is unable to grow are selected from organic sources.
